Lancia Aprilia 1939. Rare pre-war car with the larger 1500cc. engine. Chassis No. 438-20591. Bought from the Muller collection in Switzerland over 15 years ago and untouched since. Unrestored and, unlike most Aprilias, the body is completely original and has never been welded or molested in any way. It now needs attention to the floors, sills and rear door bottoms but is basically very sound and complete. The engine turns freely, it is No. 99-17100 believed to be the original unit. Cloth interior, the seats are useable but it needs new door panels. Still has its original Italian driveshafts, a rarity in the UK, and at some time the rear shock absorbers have been uprated to the post war Series 2 Houdaille type. The extra torque of the 1500cc. engine makes this pre-war car highly desirable for VSCC events and represents a rare opportunity for the Lancia enthusiast.
